Apt Resources is looking for a reliable and skilled Driver with Engineering Maintenance Experience to join a prestigious restaurant in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for providing safe and timely transportation while assisting with general engineering maintenance tasks to ensure the restaurant's facilities and equipment remain in good working condition.
Responsibilities
Safely transport staff, supplies, equipment, and other items as required by the restaurant.
Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
Assist with general engineering maintenance tasks, including basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs.
Support the inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of restaurant facilities and equipment.
Report maintenance issues, equipment malfunctions, and repair requirements to the engineering or maintenance team.
Assist with preventive maintenance activities to help ensure the smooth operation of restaurant facilities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Follow all traffic regulations, company policies, and workplace safety procedures.
- Proven experience as a Driver with hands-on engineering maintenance experience.
- Valid UAE driving license, as required for the position.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations in the UAE.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, or general facilities maintenance.
- Experience assisting with the maintenance of restaurant facilities, kitchen equipment, or commercial properties is an advantage.
- Ability to use basic maintenance tools and perform minor repairs.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and capable of handling driving duties and maintenance-related tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with the restaurant and maintenance teams.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training in engineering maintenance is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in purchasing spare parts and materials for the Engineering/Maintenance Team.
