Miserably
Unemployed

A tool I needed, so I made it.

I built this for myself first.

Looking for work right now is rough. Listings vanish before you can apply, every posting wants a custom resume, and the screeners that read those resumes don't care how good you are if your bullet points don't match their keywords. I went through a stretch where I was opening fifty tabs a day, copying job descriptions into a doc, rewriting the same resume sections over and over, and watching applications disappear into the void.

So I built a thing that scraped every job board I could reach into one inbox, and a thing that rewrote my resume against any posting in about ninety seconds. I used it on myself. It helped. I started getting callbacks again.

At some point it occurred to me that other people might want access to the same thing. So here it is.

It's not magic. It's not going to land you a job by itself. What it does is take two parts of the search that used to eat hours of your day, finding the listings and tailoring against them, and gives you that time back. The tailoring is genuinely good. The job inbox covers far more sources than LinkedIn or Indeed because most of those sources are ATS feeds that LinkedIn and Indeed don't surface. There are tens of thousands of open jobs on this site that you literally cannot find on a normal job board.

If you find it useful, I'd love to hear about it. If something's broken or confusing, I'd really love to hear about that. Email support@miserablyemployed.com and it'll come straight to me.
