Prepare

What it does

Prepare produces a briefing for one specific application: the questions the role is likely to open with, the strongest material in your history for each, the weak points to have an answer ready for, and what to ask back.

It reads the job and the exact tailored resume attached to that application, so it prepares you for the document the interviewer has.

When to use it

• An interview is booked and you want to know what is coming.
• You want to find the holes in your own application before the interviewer does.

How to use it

   Tailor to the job first

   Prepare works from jobs you have tailored a resume to, because that is what gives it the resume to read. Untailored roles do not appear here.

2. 2

   Pick the application

   The list shows every tailored job. Selecting one opens its three steps: tailor (already done), prepare, practice.

3. 3

   Generate the briefing

   This is the step that spends the credit. It produces the questions, your best material for each, and the gaps.

4. 4

   Actually read it

   The briefing is the study guide. Going straight into practice without reading it wastes the practice session.

What it costs

Good to know

• Predicted questions are informed guesses

  They are derived from the posting and your resume. Real interviewers go off script, and no amount of preparation makes that not happen.

• It needs a tailored job to work from

  A role you never tailored to has no resume attached, so there is nothing to build a briefing against. Tailor first.

• Practice is a separate credit

  The briefing and the mock interview are billed separately. Generating a briefing does not include a practice round.
