Tailor
One resume, rewritten against one posting, plus the cover letter
What it does
Tailor takes one master resume and one job description and produces a rewritten resume aimed at that posting, together with a matching cover letter.
The result is scored against applicant tracking system parsing rules and saved to your history.

When to use it
- You have decided to apply to a specific role. Tailoring is the last step before you send.
How to use it
-
Bring the posting
From the board or from Match, send a listing to Tailor and the description loads automatically. Otherwise paste the description, or the posting URL, yourself.
-
Pick the resume
Choose which master resume to tailor. Pick the one aimed in the same direction as the role.
-
Generate
Generation takes roughly ninety seconds. This is the step that spends the credit.
-
Read it before you send it
Check every bullet against what you actually did. You are accountable for the document, so read it as if you wrote it, because you are about to sign your name to it.
-
Export and apply
Export to PDF or DOCX and attach it, or hand it to QuickApply to fill the employer's form.
What it costs
One credit per generation. That single credit covers both the tailored resume and the cover letter. If generation fails or times out, the credit is refunded automatically.
How credits workGood to know
It rewrites, it does not invent
The output is built from what is in your master resume. If a posting wants five years of something you have never done, tailoring cannot and will not manufacture it. Read the result and correct anything that overstates you.
Garbage in, garbage out
A thin master resume produces a thin tailored one. Time spent filling out the master pays off on every single tailoring after it.
Tailored output is kept for ninety days
Generated resumes and cover letters are deleted ninety days after they are created. Export anything you want to keep, and re-generate from the saved job and resume if you need it back.
A failed generation costs nothing
The credit is deducted at the start and given back on any failure. If you were charged for output you never received, email support and it will be fixed.
