About the Role
Join an early-stage team building AI-powered software for transportation and logistics. You will own production features end to end, with a focus on voice and email agents that support high-stakes freight workflows.
What You'll Do
Scope problems with customers, build across the stack, deploy features, and monitor their production performance.
Develop voice and email agents, including speech pipelines, LLM orchestration, and deterministic safeguards for prices, terms, and actions.
Create evaluation systems using golden datasets, regression checks, hallucination testing, and tool-call correctness checks.
Build retrieval and matching systems with embeddings and reranking, balancing cost, latency, and scale.
Instrument production systems and use observability and rollout strategies to operate software reliably.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with end-to-end ownership of production software across the stack.
Hands-on experience taking LLM features to production, including architecture, tool-calling, and retrieval, plus evaluation and testing of AI systems.
Experience shipping with React, Next.js, Supabase, and Python.
Familiarity with agent or voice tooling such as Pipecat, LangChain, LiveKit, or equivalent tools.
Strong system design fundamentals, including streaming, concurrency, SQL, and reasoning about scale and cost.
Experience with production observability and deployment rollouts, and regular use of AI coding assistants with careful verification.
Voice or real-time systems experience, early-stage engineering experience, complex tool-use systems, or substantial open-source and personal projects are valuable.
