The EHS Engineer will provide EHS support to various Corporate team operations and manage regulatory compliance obligations in Apple owned/operated facilities in SCV. They will facilitate safety risk assessments, perform chemical reviews, participate in facility upgrade projects, implement and maintain EHS programs, perform building and lab inspections, conduct accident/incident investigations, provide emergency response, and provide operational EHS support of facility/lab construction projects. The role will report to the SCV EHS Operations Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of EHS operations experience
BA/BS in a physical science or EHS based degree
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience establishing positive relationships with Local, Regional, and State regulatory agencies
Experience in adapting to challenges, providing support, and guiding communications
Strong leadership voice with skills in communication, organization, presentations, and project management
Ability to build and maintain cross-functional partnerships and influence others
