As a Functional Design & Configuration Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to design and deliver impactful Oracle EBS and Oracle Cloud ERP solutions that support critical finance operations across a global organization. Your key accountabilities include:

  • Design, build, support and troubleshoot Oracle EBS R12 and Oracle Cloud solutions, ensuring they meet or exceed business partners’ requirements and expectations.
  • Capture, analyse and understand business requirements, translating them into functional designs and recommending solutions that deliver business value.
  • Create and maintain functional design, configuration and testing documentation, ensuring requirements and solutions are clearly defined and documented.
  • Configure and implement moderately complex solutions using agreed techniques, published standards and development methods.
  • Drive regional projects and enhancements, from requirements gathering and solution design through to user acceptance testing (UAT) and successful delivery.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver solution components in line with agreed milestones, quality standards and project targets.
  • Manage IT change activities, including raising, planning and tracking Requests for Change (RFCs) and supporting release and migration processes through ITSM tools.
  • Support tax and statutory compliance requirements, ensuring Oracle solutions align with local legislation, regulatory requirements and business processes.
  • Act as a trusted partner between business users, finance business partners and IT teams, facilitating clear communication and translating business needs into effective system solutions.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support, status reporting and project tracking, while promoting DHL’s project lifecycle, business processes and continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Strong experience working within Oracle EBS/ERP support roles, with strong functional knowledge of Oracle EBS & Oracle Cloud ERP.
  • Strong experience in an IT environment and working within project environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Financial knowledge of Latin American tax legislation (especially Brazil), electronic invoicing systems (TaxOne DFE), and Tax Reform (TR) frameworks.
  • Proven experience working with enterprise ITSM and Change Management platforms, specifically ServiceNow (GSD), for incident handling and RFC lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical problem solving, requirements gathering and analysis, and solution design capabilities.
  • Ability to capture and understand moderately complex business requirements and recommend solutions that meet or exceed business partners’ needs.
  • Ability to clearly and accurately document requirements, functional designs, configuration documents, and testing requirements.
  • Experience in setting up/configuring solutions, coordinating internal and external resources, and delivering projects and ongoing support while maintaining a strong customer/partner orientation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Intermediate level of English and Spanish.
