Position Purpose

The Real Estate Coordinator completes real estate activities and special projects as required by Operations and the Real Estate Department including coordination of key compliance controls.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Coordinates Fair Market Survey process.

  • Coordinates MAI Appraisal process.

  • Coordinates compliance tracking (physician referral source).

  • Works special projects such as development, lease, sale, or purchase of business units.

  • Coordinates ADA initiatives.

  • Reviews consultant invoices and process check requests.

  • Tracks invoices and payments to service providers.

  • Researches and resolves property issues.

  • Researches and resolves legal issues.

  • Updates real estate portfolio database.

  • Provides support to SVP Real Estate and VP Real Estate.

  • Manages Real Estate active and archive documents.

  • Coordinates external/internal resources to achieve company objectives and business unit needs.

  • Meets position requirements and performs essential functions.

  • This position must sit at our Home Office in Birmingham, AL

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Business Administration or related area preferred
  • Two or more years of experience in corporate real estate, corporate or commercial accounting (with relation to real estate preferred)
  • Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications
