Full-time or Part-Time Female Support Worker
Day Shift TImes: 7:00am - 2.30pm or 2:00pm - 9.30pm

Please put in your application if you are applying for Day shifts or Waking nights
We’re looking for Support Workers on full-time or part-time hours (part-time is 22.5 hours a week)
If you are a fun, kind, and compassionate person then we are looking for you too!
You will be based in our friendly, all female home in Aylesbury supporting and empowering adults in their 40's with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible – whether that is helping with everyday life skills, attending appointments together, or sharing hobbies and interests.
Whilst the people you will be supporting enjoy their daily routines, we can guarantee that no day will be the same. You might find yourself supporting Holly* to go to the cinema, Sarah* to volunteer at the local food bank, or enjoying a cosy evening in with Josie* watching a musical with a foot spa.
You will build close relationships and create a safe and trusting environment helping with tasks like taking medication, having a shower, and brushing teeth, as well as empowering the people you will be supporting to make their own choices and be in control of their own lives.
We are hoping that you know what is happening locally or know where to look for new experiences and opportunities, encouraging connectedness and purpose where they live.
You will work a mixture of shift patterns (7am-3pm and 2pm-10pm), including weekends and bank holidays on a full or part time basis. You may also be required for waking nights (9:30pm-7am) to cover annual leave and sickness.
No experience? No problem.
You don’t need a background in care for this role. Some of our best Support Workers came from retail, hospitality and other people-facing jobs, and brought exactly what we look for: patience, reliability and the right attitude. We’ll train you from day one.
You’ll get:
- Blue Light discount card
- Generous holiday allowance
- A supportive team and complete training
