Status: Part-Time
Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
Schedule: 15 hours a week; some 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and some 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. shifts; Saturday morning rotations

Animal Care Center at Cherry Way is a busy four-doctor veterinary hospital offering grooming, boarding, and doggie daycare alongside full medical care. We’re looking for a skilled, caring Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated and compassionate team part-time.
If you enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and love both animals and client service, you’ll fit right in. At about 15 hours a week, this role is a great fit for anyone wanting to stay hands-on in veterinary medicine on a part-time schedule.

What You’ll Do
- Assist doctors with exams, treatments, and surgeries
- Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs
- Monitor patients throughout their care
- Administer medications and vaccines as directed
- Communicate with clients about patient care and home instructions
- Keep the hospital clean, organized, and equipment ready
Responsibilities may vary based on hospital needs as well as your experience, training, certifications, credentials, and assigned responsibilities.
What You’ll Bring
- Veterinary experience preferred
- Strong technical skills with lab work, radiographs, and patient monitoring

- Availability for Saturday morning rotations
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift [Weight] lbs with assistance
- Veterinary technician licensure is welcomed but not required
