What does a DevOps Engineer do at PALO IT?
As a DevOps Engineer at PALO IT, you lead and accelerate the next wave of software innovation through the following responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment, ensuring high availability and performance.
Automate routine tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Monitor and optimize application performance while troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new technologies and promote DevOps best practices.
Ensure compliance with security standards and policies within cloud environments.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure, systems, and processes.
What experience do you need for this role?
You're a strong fit for this DevOps Engineer role if you have:
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or a similar role in infrastructure and system administration.
Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS, as well as networking concepts and container orchestration services such as ECS and EKS..
A good grasp of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Certifications in AWS are a plus but not required.
