WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

DHL Express Mexico is looking for an Accounting Manager to work within the Finance area.

JOB PURPOSE

The primary purpose of an Accounting Manager is to oversee, direct, and manage the day-to-day operations of an organization's accounting department. They ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, reporting is compliant with relevant standards. Maintains a very close relationship with the Americas Shared Services Center, which is responsible for executing and delivering various transactional processes and financial reports.

YOUR TASKS:

1 Lead the financial close process.

2 Supervise the centralized Accounts Payable model.

3 Ensure timely and accurate accounting reconciliations.

4 Coordinate and ensure deliverables from the Shared Services Center in Costa Rica.

5 Manage the relationship with external audit (Deloitte).

6 Maintain compliance with accounting controls and regulations.

7 Ensure effective interaction with the Tax department.

9 12 FTEs in total. 4 Coordinators as direct reports.

10 Complete and timely accounting reconciliations.

PROFILE:

Certified Public Accountant, with at least 5 years of experience leading accounting processes

Audit firms or accounting practices. Big Four (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG). Multinational/global companies. Large Mexican companies with high operational complexity.

Corporate accounting.

Intermediate-advanced Excel.

SAP.

IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Mexican GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) / Mexican NIF (Normas de Information Financiera)

Experience in tax processes and interaction with Tax teams.

Intermediate-advanced English.
