Mobile Float Admissions Coordinator – Nursing Homes

A privately owned skilled nursing organization is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Float Admissions Coordinator to provide admissions support across multiple nursing home facilities in Queens, NY.

Responsibilities of the Mobile Float Admissions Coordinator:

  • Travel between assigned facilities to provide admissions coverage and support

  • Maintain accurate documentation throughout the intake and admissions process

  • Manage inquiries and referrals from hospitals, families, and other referral sources

  • Coordinate appointments, facility tours, and follow-up with prospective residents and their families

  • Maintain current information on bed availability and facility services

  • Work closely with facility teams to coordinate admissions and ensure a smooth transition for incoming residents

Qualifications:

  • Previous admissions experience is required in a nursing home

  • Must be able to commute between locations as needed.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Must be flexible and adaptable to changing needs and locations.
