Community Gateway Association is looking for an Independent Board Member to join our Board from March 2027.

This is an opportunity to use your professional expertise to help guide a high-performing housing association that puts tenants at the heart of its decisions. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards having achieved the top regulatory gradings for governance, financial viability and consumer standards.

We are particularly interested in candidates with strong knowledge, skills and experience in:

  • Finance and accounting
  • Treasury
  • Audit and risk management

The commitment:

Preparation for and attendance at quarterly evening Board meetings in Preston, two annual Board Planning Events, and occasional attendance at other meetings and events. The role is remunerated at £4,212 per annum.
