SEN Teaching Assistant
Hours: 30 hours per week x 39 weeks per annum
Actual salary range: £21,797 - £22,109 pa inc (Scale 3)
Contract: 1 year Fixed Term

This post is a Specific Task contract supporting children identified with Autism and speech and language needs.
Applicants must have proven skills in working with children with special educational needs in a learning environment and will need to be confident, have good communication skills, a willingness to learn and able to work as part of a team. Knowledge of Makaton or PECs would be an advantage.
This SEN TA post involves taking responsibility for modelling good practice, making observations, using resources, following planning and working collaboratively with the class teacher.
