Job Title: Advanced Practice Professional – Hematology/Oncology

What You’ll Champion:
- Join a brand-new Hematology/Oncology practice opening in Waynesboro, offering the unique opportunity to help establish and grow a new service line from the ground up.
- Practice with a high degree of autonomy while working alongside an experienced Hematology/Oncology physician in a collaborative, supportive environment. The APP will play an integral role in patient management and clinic operations.
- Varied outpatient oncology and hematology responsibilities, including follow-up visits, hematology patient care, treatment preparation visits, triage, and oral chemotherapy education.
- Comprehensive onboarding and mentorship program, including structured education, shadowing opportunities, and a gradual ramp-up designed to support success in the specialty.
- Excellent work-life balance with a part-time schedule working Wednesday through Friday and no call responsibilities currently required.
- Manageable patient volumes, averaging approximately nine patients per day, allowing providers to deliver personalized, high-quality care to adult patients.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
- Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
- Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
Work Experience:
- 1 year Required
Licenses:
- Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
- Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
- Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
- Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
- Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
