Reporting to the Corporate Energy Manager, you will contribute to managing the Group’s energy performance, with a primary focus on energy audits, energy efficiency projects, and optimizing energy consumption across industrial and mining processes. You will also contribute to the development of renewable energy projects, particularly self-generation solar photovoltaic plants, as well as energy and carbon reporting at Group level. Key Responsibilities : 1. Manage Energy Efficiency Projects and Industrial Energy Audits : Conduct and coordinate energy audits at industrial and mining sites in accordance with applicable standards and requirements ; Identify major energy-saving opportunities and propose optimization measures for industrial and mining processes ; Assess and develop energy efficiency projects, particularly involving grinding, pumping, ventilation, compression systems, and electric motors ; Prepare energy balances and conduct technical and economic assessments of projects, including energy savings, CAPEX, financial savings, and payback periods ; Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the Energy Management System in accordance with ISO 50001. 2. Manage Energy Reporting and Performance Monitoring : Prepare and consolidate periodic energy reports at corporate and multi-site levels ; Analyze energy consumption, energy intensity, and associated emissions ; Develop and maintain energy performance dashboards, identify deviations, and detect performance issues ; Analyze data from energy monitoring and remote metering systems ; Contribute to optimizing electricity supply contracts and parameters, particularly contracted power and reactive power compensation. 3. Manage Renewable Energy and Solar Photovoltaic Projects : Conduct feasibility studies and technical sizing of solar photovoltaic plants ; Model energy yields and perform simulations using PVsyst ; Prepare technical specifications and review technical proposals from service providers and system integrators ; Participate in project implementation monitoring, acceptance testing, and commissioning of photovoltaic installations ; Ensure the technical integration of renewable energy projects into site electrical networks. 4. Ensure Technical Compliance of Electrical Infrastructure : Participate in validating connection solutions and integrating energy projects into existing infrastructure ; Ensure compliance of industrial electrical installations and associated equipment with applicable requirements ; Contribute to compliance with applicable standards and technical requirements for HV, MV, and LV installations. Required Skills and Competencies : Proficiency in energy audit methodologies and the principles of ISO 50002 ; Good knowledge of ISO 50001 requirements and energy management systems ; Proficiency in PVsyst for photovoltaic studies and simulations ; Proficiency in electrical system design and calculation tools, particularly Caneco and AutoCAD Electrical ; Excellent command of Excel and reporting and data visualization tools, particularly Power BI ; Knowledge of Power Query and/or Python is an asset ; Good knowledge of industrial electromechanical equipment, including motors, variable-speed drives, pumping systems, ventilation systems, and compressors ; Good knowledge of industrial electrical networks, including HV, MV, and LV systems, substations, and protection equipment ; Knowledge of the Moroccan regulatory framework governing energy and renewable energy ; Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical and energy data ; Critical thinking and accuracy in the technical and economic assessment of projects ; Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with operational teams and cross-functional stakeholders ; Strong field orientation and the ability to work in industrial and mining environments ; Autonomy, proactivity, and effective prioritization skills. Education and Experience : Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or an equivalent qualification ; At least 5 years of professional experience in energy, energy efficiency, electrical engineering, or an industrial environment. Location: Marrakech, with travel to the Group’s various sites in Morocco.
