Full-Time Self-Contained Specialist Needed (SPED)! We’re seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for a self-contained classroom serving approximately 10 students, primarily with autism and varying support needs. The school day runs from 8:30 AM to 3:40 PM. The ideal candidate will provide individualized instruction and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment tailored to each student’s needs. Further Insight: Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Implement positive behavioral and classroom management strategies. Participate in IEP meetings and support the development of student goals. Lead and manage a self-contained classroom of approximately 10 students. Support students with autism, including those with significant support needs. Provide individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs and learning goals. Requirements At least a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field. Experience supporting students with autism and complex needs preferred. Ability to provide individualized instruction and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
