• Engine Room Equipment and Systems and Utilities Operation and Maintenance 1 Prepare Machinery Systems for start-up.
• Start and Monitor the Machinery Systems.
• Prepare and Shutdown the Machinery Systems.
• Isolate and reinstate the Machinery for Maintenance.
• Manage and Supervise Effectively 1 Establish effective relationships with colleagues and subordinates.
• Establish scope of work clearly (briefings, toolbox talks, presentations).
• Plan and control use of resources effectively (Personnel, time, materials, transport, IT).
• Use of communication skills shows leadership (oral, teambuilding, recording, noting, handover, analyzing.
• Promote training and competency assurance throughout the department in line with Company goals for the Unit.
• Encourage and support all department personnel to achieve training and competency targets and plan for appropriate time allocation for this area of work.
