We are looking for Manufacturing Assistants to join our Manufacturing team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This role is perfect for college/university students, recent graduates, or anyone looking for weekend work around existing weekday commitments. No previous manufacturing experience is required as full training will be provided.
As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will:

Carry out shot blasting and linishing/polishing processes on orthopaedic implants
Follow manufacturing procedures and work instructions
Handle components carefully to maintain quality standards
Complete production records accurately
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Work as part of a team to meet production targets
Follow all health, safety and quality requirements

The ideal Manufacturing Assistant will have:

A good standard of education, including GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good attention to detail
Strong manual dexterity and an interest in hands-on work
The ability to work well as part of a team
A reliable and proactive approach

Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential.
Please note: Successful candidates will be required to attend a 1-day induction on a Monday and a 1-day training session during the week before starting weekend shifts.
