Shop Manager / Lead Auto Detailer - Pristine Auto Detailing, Tucson, AZ 85713 Pristine Auto Detailing is looking for a reliable, self-motivated Shop Manager / Lead Auto Detailer to take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our Tucson location (1419 South 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ 85713). This is not a position for someone who needs to be constantly supervised. Our main operation is based in Honolulu, so we need someone in Tucson who is comfortable working independently, making decisions, communicating with customers, and keeping the shop running smoothly without management physically being there every day. Responsibilities - Perform high-quality interior and exterior automotive detailing - Open, close, and maintain the Tucson shop - Manage the daily schedule and keep jobs moving efficiently - Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after appointments - Inspect vehicles and maintain quality-control standards before delivery - Help provide quotes and recommend appropriate services to customers - Keep the shop, equipment, chemicals, and supplies organized - Monitor inventory and let ownership know when supplies need to be reordered - Handle unexpected day-to-day issues without needing constant direction - Communicate with ownership in Honolulu regarding jobs, customers, staffing, and shop needs - Help train and oversee additional detailers as the Tucson location grows - Take responsibility for the overall appearance, professionalism, and operation of the shop Who We're Looking For - Extremely reliable and self-sufficient - Manager-minded and comfortable taking responsibility - Detail-oriented and proud of producing high-quality work - Comfortable dealing directly with customers - Good at problem-solving and making decisions independently - Organized and able to manage multiple vehicles/jobs - Able to communicate clearly with ownership remotely - Treats the shop like their own and wants to grow with the company Requirements - 1 year of car detailing experience (required) - Professional detailing experience strongly preferred - Experience managing a detailing shop, automotive business, service business, or small team is a major plus - Paint correction, polishing, and ceramic coating experience highly valued About Pristine Auto Detailing Pristine Auto Detailing is a growing automotive appearance company with operations in Honolulu, Hawaii and Tucson, Arizona, offering professional detailing, ceramic coatings, and paint correction. This role can grow into a significant leadership position. Schedule & Compensation Full-time, 40 hours per week, in person. Pay up to $30.00 per hour, depending on detailing experience, management experience, and overall ability.
