Responsible for performing reconciliations, investigating items with internal and external parties and identifying opportunities for streamlining/automation.

As a member of Zepz’s Product Reconciliation team you will aim high, embrace challenges and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long-term decision making.

What you bring to the table:
  • Experienced reconciliation analyst accustomed to working with large balance sheet reconciliations using a reconciliation tool.
  • Solid Excel skills and understanding of bookkeeping.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to completion of your deliverables.
  • Team player with well-developed communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Able to work to a deadline, flex with any plan changes and flag any potential conflicting priorities.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in an international business, working with foreign currency transactions is advantageous.
  • Experience in Blackline / Autorek is advantageous.

What you will own:
Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager - Cash in Transit, you will:
  • Execute daily and monthly Cash in Transit reconciliations in accordance with established schedules, processes, and controls.
  • Identify, investigate, and summarise outstanding reconciling items for resolution in line with standard operating procedures.
  • Engage with relevant internal teams, acquirers, and banks to resolve reconciling items and obtain required supporting information and statements.
  • Raise and post journals for required adjustments, losses, cost of sales, reallocations, and other reconciliation-related items.
  • Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings, providing accurate updates on deliverables and highlighting queries or issues requiring attention.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support internal and external audit activities by providing required information, documentation, and assistance within agreed timelines.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by management.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Background in FinTech, remittance, payments processing, or multi-currency transactions.
  • Basic knowledge of dispute, chargeback, and fee reconciliation processes.
  • Hands-on exposure to automated reconciliation platforms ( BlackLine / Autorek) and ERP systems (NetSuite)

  • Prior exposure to SQL or data extraction tools for handling high-volume transaction datasets.
  • Familiarity with gateway settlement reports (Adyen, Checkout, Stripe, Tabapay, Trustly) or cash-in-transit (CIT) reconciliations.

AI Literacy & Tools
As Zepz continues to build AI into how we work, we expect everyone to engage with it as a core part of their role. For this position we are looking for:
  • A genuine curiosity about AI and how it can be applied in your area of work — from accelerating analysis and insight generation, to improving how we design and deliver processes and communications.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context — whether to connect information, draft content, build frameworks, or create insights from data. We want people who actively use AI to increase productivity, not those who are waiting to be told to.
  • Strong AI literacy — an understanding of what AI assistants can and cannot do, how to prompt effectively, and how to critically evaluate AI-generated output before using it.
  • Awareness of the ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace, particularly in the context of sensitive data, customer experience, and compliance.
  • Prior experience using Claude (Anthropic) is a nice-to-have but not essential — what matters most is that you are genuinely engaged with AI as a tool, comfortable experimenting, and eager to share what works with your wider team
