BI Analyst
Role: BI Reporting Analyst
Experience: 5–8 Years
Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design and implement executive-level dashboards and operational reporting solutions focused on Delivery Health, Dispatch Automation, Utilization Management, Customer Engineering (CE) performance, and Team Health metrics. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in data modelling, DAX, Power BI visualization, and stakeholder-facing reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Delivery Health Reporting
- Build executive dashboards leveraging Dispatch Automation indicators.
- Create KPI-driven scorecards to monitor overall delivery health.
- Enable drill-down and drill-through capabilities for detailed insights.
- Provide reporting views filtered by:
- Solution Area
- Service Delivery Manager (SDM)
- POD Lead
- Microsoft M1
- Develop mechanisms to flag and highlight critical artifacts requiring review.
- Create detailed dispatch-level reporting pages covering all delivery artifacts and associated metrics.
Utilization & CE Performance Analytics
- Design Customer Engineer (CE) utilization dashboards and scorecards.
- Track and visualize:
- Kudos & Recognition Metrics
- Survey Response Rates
- Customer Satisfaction & Survey Outcomes
- EDE Package Utilization
- Assigned Hours vs Consumption
- Burn Rate Analysis
- Compliance and Action Completion Tracking
- Deliver trend analysis and utilization forecasting.
Executive Team Health Dashboard
- Develop leadership dashboards providing an overall view of:
- Utilization Metrics
- CPE Performance Indicators
- EDE Performance
- Capacity & Demand Projections
- Team Health and Operational Effectiveness
Data Engineering & Reporting
- Design scalable data models and semantic layers in Power BI.
- Develop advanced DAX measures, KPIs, and calculated metrics.
- Integrate data from enterprise sources such as SharePoint, Excel, Dataverse, SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and APIs.
- Optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and security models.
- Ensure data accuracy, governance, and reporting best practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development.
- Strong expertise in:
- Power BI Desktop & Service
- DAX & Power Query
- Data Modelling
- SQL
- Dashboard Performance Optimization
- Experience building Executive, Operational, and Analytics Dashboards.
- Knowledge of utilization, workforce analytics, delivery operations, and KPI reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform.
- Knowledge of Delivery Operations, Managed Services, or Customer Engineering environments.
- Microsoft Power BI Certification preferred.
- Exposure to forecasting, capacity planning, and workforce analytics.
