- Lead full lifecycle of cloud migration and application engineering projects from planning through production rollout.
- Design scalable, secure, cost‑optimized architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams (developers, DevOps, analysts) to meet milestones.
- Define and enforce CI/CD, IaC, and automated testing best practices.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Provide hands‑on technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
- Perform performance tuning, cost analysis, and resource optimization.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Produce technical documentation, status reports, and executive briefings.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, application development, and project management.
- Hands‑on expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services.
- Proficiency with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Proven track record leading large‑scale migration or modernization initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically as required.
