ARTISAN (ELECTRICIAN) (LEVEL I) 34005252
Key Responsibility Areas:
•Carry out medium voltage and low voltage preventative maintenance.
•Carry out medium voltage and low voltage breakdown maintenance.
•Replacing electrical equipment that has been damaged or that cannot be repaired or has reached the end of its economical life.
•Prioritize allocation of resources to service instruction received.
•Comply with occupational health and safety act and service unit safety instructions.
•Ensure safe operation of medium voltage system.
•Interface with other disciplines.
•Undertakes administrative duties including inventory management.
•Undertake supervisory duties.
•Undertakes miscellaneous duties.
•Undertakes related assignments.

Essential Requirements:
•Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician).
•Valid Basic First Aid certificate or to be completed within 6-12 months from date of appointment.
•Valid motor vehicle driving license.
•2 years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
Preferred Requirements:
•3 Years relevant post apprenticeship experience.

Essential Requirements:
•Trade Tested Artisan (Electrician).
•Authorised without restriction to operate on the MV systems or must be eligible for MV authorization within 9 months from the date of appointment to the position.
•Valid Basic First Aid and Basic Safety certificate or to be completed within 6-12 months from date of appointment.
•Valid motor vehicle driving license.
•3 Years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
Preferred Requirements:
•4 years relevant post apprenticeship experience.
