They manage merchandise flow, track and analyze inventory maintenance, and develop protocols for loss mitigation. They are instrumental in maintaining accurate records of physical inventory and are responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory storage space.
Using an inventory management system to manage, update, and analyze inventory records, the Inventory Control Specialist will manage store inventory to ensure appropriate inventory and stock levels are maintained. The Inventory Specialist liaises between store personnel and vendors so that an optimum customer experience relative to merchandise availability, quality, and selection exists.
