ABOUT THE ROLE
Reports to: General Manager, U.S.
Type: Full-time
Location: US, Remote
Corporate travel is a new revenue line and a new product for WeRoad: companies book a trip as an offsite or team retreat, on any of our itineraries. Buyers are mainly remote and distributed teams, with in-office companies showing interest too. Few companies think of group adventure travel as an offsite format today, so most of your conversations will introduce a new idea, not a comparison with a competitor. You are the first dedicated prospector on the team, and what you hear from the market will shape the pitch.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Book qualified meetings. Open conversations with decision-makers and hand off meetings that fit the target profile.
Run outbound. Work a defined target list by email, phone and LinkedIn.
Work inbound. Respond quickly to enquiries from the corporate page and qualify them.
Build the lists. Research target companies and the people who plan offsites: people leaders, chiefs of staff and founders.
Test the message. Try different angles, track what gets replies and report what you learn each week.
Keep the CRM clean. Log every touch, reply and outcome.
Hand off well. Brief the closer before each meeting so no context is lost.
WHO YOU ARE
Early in your sales career, with proof you can prospect. One to two years of outbound B2B experience, or clear evidence you can do it.
A sharp writer. Your emails are short, specific and get answered.
Comfortable on the phone. You pick it up without being asked.
Resilient and organized. The work is high volume and mostly rejection. You follow up anyway.
Curious. This is a new category. You listen closely and bring back what buyers say.
Self-directed. The team is small and remote, with little structure to lean on.
Nice to have: Experience in travel or events, or selling to people and HR teams.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Closers to learn from. You work directly with the General Manager, and sit in on the meetings you book.
A lean US team. Presently sales and customer experience plus digital marketing.
A blank page. There are no inherited sequences or scripts. You help write them.
A path up. A closing role as the corporate team grows.

WeRoad is a community-led group adventure travel company. It sells small-group trips to solo adults aged 25–49, across about 250 itineraries worldwide.
We don't act like a tour operator and we don't want to be mistaken for one. No palm trees, no stock-photo sunsets, no “book now” shouting. Our voice is friendly, a little ironic, and human, we earn attention by being culturally relevant, not by chasing people with ads. If “we attract, we don't chase” resonates with you, keep reading.
