Wawa Internship Program Overview
The Wawa Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a collaborative corporate environment, where they work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful business projects, and build skills that support their academic and professional growth. Throughout the summer, interns participate in professional development and networking opportunities with fellow interns and company leaders. The program culminates in a capstone presentation, where interns showcase key projects, accomplishments, and the impact of their contributions.
We are currently seeking four interns to join our Finance team for Summer 2027.
What You'll Do
As a Finance Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting Wawa's Finance and Analytics teams. Depending on business needs and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to:
- Analyze financial, operational, and category performance data to support business decision-making.
- Assist with reporting, forecasting, reconciliations, and financial analysis using enterprise systems and reporting tools.
- Support data governance, dashboard development, and AI-driven analytics initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify trends, improve processes, and drive business performance.
- Contribute to projects involving treasury operations, revenue planning, inventory performance, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Build reports, presentations, and recommendations that support strategic initiatives and business partners.

Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2030.
- Ability to work onsite at Wawa Corporate Headquarters in Media, PA, four days per week throughout the internship program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Previous internship, project, or leadership experience related to Finance or Accounting is preferred.
