Wawa Internship Program Overview

 

The Wawa Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a collaborative corporate environment, where they work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful business projects, and build skills that support their academic and professional growth. Throughout the summer, interns participate in professional development and networking opportunities with fellow interns and company leaders. The program culminates in a capstone presentation, where interns showcase key projects, accomplishments, and the impact of their contributions.

 

We are currently seeking an intern to join our Wawa Beverage Center team for Summer 2027.

 

What You'll Do

As a Manufacturing Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting Wawa Beverage Company's manufacturing, warehouse, and continuous improvement operations. Depending on business needs and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to:

 

  • Support manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain operations that help ensure products move efficiently from production through distribution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and improve operational processes across the supply chain.
  • Assist with operational reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support day-to-day business activities and projects that drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational performance data to identify trends and support business decision-making.
  • Gain exposure to production planning, inventory movement, distribution operations, and supply chain best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2030.
  • Ability to work onsite at Wawa Corporate Headquarters in Media, PA, four days per week throughout the internship program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous internship, project, or leadership experience in legal is preferred.
