Job Title: Wawa Merchandising Internship Program (Summer 2027)

Duration: Full Time, May 17, 2027 – August 05, 2027

Location: Media, PA (Onsite 4 days per week)

Rate: $18/hr

Wawa Internship Program Overview

 

The Wawa Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a collaborative corporate environment, where they work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful business projects, and build skills that support their academic and professional growth. Throughout the summer, interns participate in professional development and networking opportunities with fellow interns and company leaders. The program culminates in a capstone presentation, where interns showcase key projects, accomplishments, and the impact of their contributions.

 

We are currently seeking three interns to join our Merchandising team for Summer 2027.

 

What You'll Do

As a Merchandising Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting Wawa's merchandising, category management, product development, and store design teams. Depending on business needs and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to:

 

  • Support category, product, and store development initiatives that drive sales and enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product launches, promotions, store refreshes, and merchandising projects.
  • Analyze sales, product, and performance data to identify trends and support business decisions.
  • Assist with project execution, reporting, quality assurance, and presentation development.
  • Contribute to product development, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives across food and beverage categories.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Business-related field.
  • Expected graduation date between Spring 2028 and Spring 2030.
  • Ability to work onsite at Wawa Corporate Headquarters in Media, PA, four days per week throughout the internship program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Previous internship, project, or leadership experience is preferred.
