WWC Geological Interns provide geologic and environmental support to project managers for NEPA environmental documents, environmental and water sampling and analyses, regulatory permitting, water and wastewater systems, surface hydrology, hydrogeology, economic geology and related projects. Conduct field investigations and document field data. The position also assists in general administrative duties assigned to them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Provides geologic and environmental support to project managers for various types of projects
- Conducts field investigations to support design work
- Assists with the preparation of reports, environmental documents, permit applications and other project deliverables
- Prepare geologic figures in Civil3D or ArcGIS or other relevant software
- Understands and incorporates applicable client requirements, standards and specifications
- Works closely with geologists, engineers and other technical staff to coordinate project efforts
- *Performs all other duties and tasks assigned by the Project Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Attending a two-year or four-year college and studying in the field of geology or related fields
