Job Summary / About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our enterprise engineering systems team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer interested in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering data, analytics, and operational systems.
As a PDLM GET, you will support global initiatives related to PLM implementation, user support, product data quality, reporting, and process improvement. You will work with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and IT to help improve system adoption, data consistency, and business visibility.
This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience with tools such as PTC Windchill, PTC Creo, Power BI, and enterprise engineering workflows while contributing to high-impact digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support PLM implementation and rollout activities across global teams.
- Assist with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination for system and process enhancements.
- Participate in system testing, validation, and go-live support for PLM-related initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day support to PTC Windchill and PTC Creo Parametric users.
- Help maintain product data quality, lifecycle status accuracy, and workflow consistency within PLM systems.
- Support the creation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and KPI reports for engineering and operational performance.
- Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting to improve decision-making and process visibility.
- Contribute to user training, quick reference guides, and process documentation.
- Participate in automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, and IT teams to support enterprise system adoption and process standardization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 0–1 years of experience in engineering systems, product data management, analytics, or related areas.
- Basic understanding of engineering processes, product data, or enterprise systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
- Eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and business processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic project, or hands-on exposure to PLM, PDM, or enterprise engineering systems.
- Familiarity with PTC Windchill and/or PTC Creo Parametric.
- Exposure to Power BI, Excel VBA, SQL, or Power Platform.
- Awareness of data analysis, reporting, or dashboard development concepts.
- Exposure to CAD or engineering design tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical, or Revit.
- Interest in automation, digital engineering, or process optimization.
