Position Summary
Under general direction, responsible for activities associated with maintaining general ledger accounts and for developing financial statements and reports of Valley Medical Group. Maintains the integrity of financial information, accounting systems and internal control of the organization and demonstrates in-depth knowledge and experience of GAAP, finance reporting, accounting systems and operational accounting functions.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. Master's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
Experience
Minimum four years of progressively established, advanced, diversified accounting experience required, preferably in a hospital or medical group related field.
* Public accounting experience strongly preferred, CPA preferred.
* Experienced, high caliber Accountant to assist in preparing the financial statements, supporting schedules, financial review and analysis, assist in completion of month-end closing, and financial reporting.
