Job Description
Electromechanical Technician I
As an Electromechanical Technician (assembler), you will be responsible for:
assembling components onto panels or into enclosures, making sure you follow mechanical layout/drawings closely.
Building the inside electrical panels for large Solar Panels- as well as assembling the panel it self
A great candidate for this role will have the ability to wire per electrical schematics and follow predefined work standards and guidelines.
Shift
Monday - Friday
7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
overtime potential (Saturdays)
Pay Rate
$24-26/hr
Job Duties
Assemble components onto panels and into enclosures
following mechanical layout and assembly drawings with zero deficiencies.
Wire components per electrical schematics following predefined guidelines and work standards.
Capable of completing minor modifications to metal panels and enclosures including cutting, drilling, and tapping.
Qualifications/Requirements
Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or minimum 2 years of related industry experience.
MUST have HS diploma or GED at minimum
Knowledgeable with panel assembly and wiring.
Knowledge of UL508A standards.
Willingness to learn new products.
Ability to read blueprints (see desired characteristics)
Familiarity with assembly and wiring a range of drive products including
AC & DC drives
Variable speed drives
Motor exciters
Remote I/O stations and operator stations
