We’re seeking an experienced and inspiring Centre Director to join Busy Bees at Amberton Beach full-time. With capacity for 104 children, this purpose-built centre offers a genuine opportunity to take ownership, drive growth and make the centre your own.

Located in a beautiful growing community just 500 metres from the beach, you’ll be supported by a passionate core team and a dedicated 2IC, with the opportunity to build team capability and unlock the centre’s full potential.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of a high-quality early learning service.

  • Build on the centre’s strong culture of relationships, belonging and family engagement.

  • Drive occupancy growth and financial performance in line with budget targets.

  • Build, mentor and retain a high-performing leadership team.

  • Maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and Western Australian regulations.

  • Foster a culture of safety, inclusion, and educational excellence.

  • Support an environment where children build confidence, independence and important life skills through play, routines and everyday experiences.

  • Develop strong partnerships with families and the local community.

  • Collaborate with your Area Director and support functions to achieve strategic goals.

  • Lead performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.

What you’ll bring

  • A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values.

  • Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).

  • Current Western Australian Working with Children Check (WWCC).

  • Proven experience leading a service, ideally within a medium to large centre environment.

  • Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), EYLF, and WA compliance requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage occupancy, rosters, and financial performance.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • A warm, relationship-focused leadership style and a genuine passion for creating a place where children, families and educators feel they belong.
