Boeing Kuwait IncBoeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Kuwait Base Manager to join our team at Al Mubarak AB, Kuwait.
This is a long-term expatriate position based 100% on-site at Al Mubarak AB, Kuwait. Relocation/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
- Managing Field Service employees performing technical or specialist activities at Al Mubarak AB, Kuwait, including customer or supplier facilities
- Develops and executes customer support strategies and tactics to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage, and foster business growth
- Directs post-sale coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, test, repair, engineering change improvements, and preventive maintenance to be performed at the customer’s site
- Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
- Acquires and leverages resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes
- Manages, develops, and motivates employees
- Control Account Manager for site program that is valued at over $40 million dollars

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience supporting military/defense programs
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with C-17 platform
