Community Relations Coordinator

Location: Aurora, CO (On-site)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Are you passionate about building meaningful relationships and creating impactful community experiences? We are seeking a highly organized and outgoing Community Relations Coordinator to support community outreach initiatives, strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and special events.

What You'll Do

As a key member of the community engagement team, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, vendors, sponsors, families, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate community partnerships and sponsorship agreements
  • Plan and execute community events, outreach programs, and special initiatives
  • Create event communications, promotional materials, recaps, and correspondence
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and event coordination activities
  • Track budgets, invoices, partnership commitments, and engagement metrics
  • Support vendor communications and event activation planning
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, leadership, volunteer services, and other internal teams
  • Assist with on-site event setup and teardown, including booths, tents, tables, and promotional materials
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of community engagement activities

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of community relations, partnership management, or community outreach experience
  • 2+ years supporting sponsorships and strategic partnerships
  • Experience planning and executing events from concept through completion
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating schedules, logistics, and multiple priorities
  • Budget tracking and reporting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to support physical event setup and teardown activities

Preferred Experience

  • Nonprofit partnership experience
  • Healthcare community relations experience
  • Experience coordinating educational, volunteer, or wellness programs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
