We're looking for a creative and motivated Student Assistant in Digital Content Creation & Storytelling to help bring the stories of our Digital Engineering teams to life.
We are now looking for a Student Assistant to support the Digital Engineering department within Business Area Wind. In this role, you will help showcase the people, innovations and digital solutions that support renewable energy production across our European markets.
Working closely with engineers, specialists and leaders, you will create engaging content that strengthens communication, knowledge sharing and employee engagement across the organization. From interviews and video production to AI-generated content and creative storytelling, you will help transform complex technical topics into content that is informative, engaging and easy to understand.
This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with content creation, video production, storytelling and emerging AI technologies while building a portfolio of meaningful work in an international environment.
You will be based in Kolding, Denmark, and collaborate with colleagues across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK.

Your role
In this role, you will help strengthen communication, knowledge sharing and engagement across Digital Engineering. You will be responsible for creating compelling content that highlights the work of our teams and supports internal branding initiatives across BA Wind. From developing creative concepts to producing finished content, you will play an active role throughout the entire content creation process.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Developing creative content ideas and storytelling concepts for internal communication channels
- Planning and producing short-form videos, interviews, photo stories and other engaging content formats
- Conducting interviews and transforming technical topics into compelling stories
- Filming and editing content from concept to final delivery
- Creating AI-generated visuals, videos and other creative assets when traditional filming is not possible
- Publishing and adapting content for different channels and target audiences
- Supporting internal campaigns and communication initiatives across the Digital Engineering organization
- Maintaining a consistent visual identity while following Vattenfall brand guidelines
- Supporting the planning and management of content calendars and communication activities
- Exploring new digital tools, trends and content formats to continuously improve engagement
Who are you?
You are a creative and curious student who enjoys combining storytelling, technology and visual communication. You have a passion for content creation and thrive when transforming ideas into engaging formats that capture attention and inspire others.
You enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders, are comfortable working independently, and have a natural ability to identify interesting stories and communicate them in a clear and engaging way. You are eager to learn, willing to experiment with new technologies and excited about working in an international environment where innovation is part of everyday life.
Next to this you bring:
- Are enrolled in a relevant programme such as Media, Communication, Journalism, Film Production, Marketing or Digital Design, ideally with 2–3 years remaining
- Have strong storytelling and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt content for different audiences and digital channels
- Have experience creating and editing video content using relevant production equipment and tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Camtasia
- Understand social media and short-form content, have a strong visual eye and can create engaging content in line with brand guidelines
- Are curious about AI-powered tools and eager to explore new technologies and creative trends
- Are fluent in English and bring a proactive, structured and self-motivated approach to your work
