1. Experience with Cat5 and Cat6 cabling, including cable pulling, routing, labeling, dressing, and installation within data center, warehouse, telecom, construction, or industrial environments.

3. Basic technical and computer skills, including experience with ticketing systems, inventory tracking, documentation, and Microsoft Excel. CompTIA A+ or Network+ certifications are preferred.
Position Overview
Our Infrastructure team is responsible for supporting day-to-day installation activities within data center and operational environments. This includes structured cabling, equipment installation, inventory management, and infrastructure support.
This role is highly hands-on and requires individuals who enjoy physical work, working with tools, and operating in fast-paced environments. Technicians spend the majority of their day on their feet pulling and dressing cable, climbing ladders, moving equipment, and supporting infrastructure projects.
The successful candidate will:
• Work in a construction-like environment that may include cold temperatures and varying site conditions.
• Spend up to 10 hours per day standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Support cabling installations and infrastructure projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when labeling, routing, documenting, and verifying cabling work.
• Adapt to changing priorities and operational deadlines.
• Work effectively as part of a team to move, position, and install equipment safely.
Key Job Responsibilities
• Pull, route, dress, label, and secure Cat5 and Cat6 cabling according to established standards and work instructions.
• Partner with team members and vendors to install, inspect, and maintain structured cabling infrastructure in data center and operational environments.
• Accurately label and document cable installations to ensure proper identification and traceability.
• Read and follow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to complete installation activities.
• Utilize ticketing and inventory management systems to document completed work, track requests, and provide status updates.
• Support physical infrastructure projects, including equipment moves, rack installations, and cable management activities.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and coordinating materials and equipment deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records using computer-based systems, including Excel and other operational tools.
• Ensure all work complies with site safety requirements, quality standards, and installation best practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers regarding project status and operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
• 0-3 years of experience in low-voltage cabling, telecom, data centers, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, or related environments.
• CompTIA A+ or Network+ Certification.
• Experience with Cat5 and Cat6 cable installation, cable pulling, labeling, or cable management.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, documentation systems, and ticketing tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to read and follow diagrams, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Ability to work safely while lifting and moving up to 35 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to push, pull, and maneuver equipment, racks, carts, and materials as part of a team.
• Comfortable working extended periods on your feet, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures while wearing required PPE.
• Experience supporting data center infrastructure environments.
• Experience using inventory management or ticketing systems.
• Previous experience with structured cabling projects in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse settings.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Berwick, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
