Data Center Technician Multiple Levels

About the Role:
We are seeking motivated and customer-focused Data Center Technicians across multiple experience levels to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of critical data center infrastructure. Successful candidates ill play a key role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and scalability of server, network, and power systems supporting enterprise and cloud-based environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, rack, stack, and decommission servers, storage systems, and network equipment.
- Perform cable installation, management, labeling, and documentation.
- Monitor data center hardware and respond to operational alerts.
- Troubleshoot hardware failures and coordinate equipment replacement.
- Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance windows, and change management activities.
- Maintain accurate inventory and asset tracking records.
- Support compliance, security, and environmental requirements within the data center.
Qualifications
Data Center Technician
Required
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds.
Preferred
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent certification.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to work in hot and cold aisle environments.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Skills
- Linux and Windows Server fundamentals.
- Networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing.
- Structured cabling standards and best practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Barstow, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
