The Fab Support Documentation Specialist plays a crucial role in our Engineering department. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, standardizing, and improving technical documentation that supports Fab Support operations. You will collaborate closely with Equipment Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Workforce Development, and Safety teams to ensure operational documentation aligns with our ambitious business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Author, edit, and maintain equipment maintenance procedures, work instructions, and operational documentation.
Build and standardize Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) procedures.
Develop troubleshooting guides, decision trees, and recovery procedures.
Manage documentation throughout its lifecycle, ensuring compliance and supporting audit readiness.
Translate complex technical information into clear, structured documentation for technician and engineering audiences, and create visual work instructions using annotated photographs, diagrams, process flows, and other technical illustrations.
Collaborate with various teams to capture technical knowledge and validate procedures.
Lead documentation governance and compliance through its lifecycle.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technical preferred, or a similar, with at least 1 year of related experience. An Associates degree combined with 3 or more years of relevant experience, or a minimum of 3 years in Fab Support showing technical knowledge will be considered.
More than 1 year’s experience with document control and version management.
Exceptional technical writing skills and editing skills.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical requirements.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, Fab Support, Maintenance, Equipment Engineering, or Facilities.
Familiarity with document compliance, audit readiness, and change control processes.
Exposure to technical aspects of vacuum systems, pumps, abatement systems, chillers, gas delivery, or related support equipment.
Strong stakeholder management.
Experience with AI-assisted content creation tools to improve documentation efficiency and experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
