Westmac Labour Limited is seeking skilled and reliable Fencing Operators / Erectors to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various commercial, industrial, residential, and agricultural fencing systems across project locations in Mayo and surrounding regions. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Set out, measure, and prepare alignment layouts for fencing installations according to drawings. • Excavate ground surfaces and dig post holes manually or using mechanical augers/drivers. • Mix, pour, and set concrete foundations and structural supports for fencing posts. • Erect and secure timber, chain-link, palisade, and mesh fencing systems. • Operate hand and power tools safely, including drills, grinders, cutters, and leveling equipment. • Conduct repairs and routine maintenance on existing boundary fencing or security enclosures. • Ensure compliance with all statutory health, safety, and environmental standards. • Handle, load, and unload heavy fencing materials safely. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum 1–2 years of practical experience in fencing installation, groundworks, or general construction. • Proficiency in using specialized hand tools and commercial fencing equipment. • Strong physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling and outdoor work. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills. • Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain). • Flexibility to travel across construction sites in the Mayo region.
