# Audit Manager Public Accounting **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Experience:** 5+ Years Public Accounting / Audit **CPA:** Active CPA License Required ### Mandatory Client Requirements * **Active CPA License REQUIRED** * **5+ years Public Accounting / A&A experience** * **5+ years Financial Statement Audit experience** * **2+ years Supervisory / Management experience** * Strong experience **leading audit engagements** * **Private Equity experience/exposure REQUIRED** * Experience with **privately held / investment-backed / middle-market clients** * Strong **team leadership, client management & communication** skills * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting** ### Key Responsibilities * Lead financial statement audits from planning through completion. * Manage audit teams, budgets, deadlines, and client deliverables. * Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation. * Resolve complex accounting and auditing issues. * Supervise, mentor, and develop audit associates and seniors. * Manage client relationships and communicate audit findings/recommendations. * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards. * Support client service, business development, and process improvements. ### Preferred * Master’s in Accounting or related field. * Experience with complex/multiple audit engagements. * Strong Microsoft Office and audit/accounting software skills. **Ideal Candidate:** Audit Manager / Assurance Manager / Senior Audit Manager / strong Audit Senior with an **active CPA, 5+ years public accounting & financial statement audit experience, 2+ years leadership, and clearly demonstrated Private Equity exposure.**
