# Senior Project Manager Land Development **Location:** Phoenix, AZ / Client AZ Offices **Experience:** **15+ Years** **Work Type:** Onsite / Local or Relocation Required ### Mandatory Client Requirements * **15+ years Civil Engineering experience** * **Active Arizona PE License REQUIRED** * **Private Firm Land Development experience REQUIRED** * Strong experience managing **Civil Engineering Designers/Teams in an office environment** * Proven experience managing **residential, commercial & mixed-use land development projects** * Strong **single-family residential development** experience * Experience with **project management, permitting, entitlements & client management** * Strong knowledge of **grading, drainage, utilities & stormwater** * **AutoCAD Civil 3D** * Must live near a client AZ office or be **willing to relocate** * **Non-remote position** ### Key Responsibilities * Lead land development projects from site evaluation through permitting and construction support. * Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, quality, and deliverables. * Lead and mentor Civil Engineering Designers, PMs, and technical staff. * Manage clients, developers, consultants, and public agencies. * Oversee grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater, entitlements, and regulatory approvals. * Support proposals, scopes, budgeting, presentations, and business development. ### Do NOT Submit * Construction Management * Field Engineers * Geotechnical Engineering * Structural Engineering * Oil & Gas * Federal Projects * Candidates without an active **Arizona PE** * Candidates without **Private Land Development** experience ### Preferred * Established Arizona developer/municipal relationships. * Arizona jurisdictional codes and permitting experience. * Business development and proposal experience. **Ideal Candidate:** Senior Civil Engineering PM with **15+ years, active AZ PE, private-firm land development experience, office-based team leadership, strong residential development background, and long-term career potential.**
