With an emphasis on quality, Vixlet offers a supportive engineering environment including: continuous integration, automated testing, objective code reviews and we’re starting to bring in continuous delivery concepts.

We are looking for a strong Android engineer to take an existing application, get it ready for initial go-live release, and enhance to keep pace with feature releases across the application suite. Previous, full lifecycle experience (multiple production releases), deploying into Google Play, is a must. We’re looking for candidates with a strong understanding of Java and the ability to architect Android apps. Experience with building library projects and dynamically skin-able apps is desired. We have a custom RESTful JSON API built using Node.js, and offer opportunities to stretch into the backend if desired.

Position is for a onsite developer in our Los Angeles office.

Git/GitHub, Android 4.x, Android Studio, RESTful JSON, Sails.js, MongoDB, Redis experience is a plus.
