We are a social media company, with several exciting projects working with National and International brands. With an emphasis on quality, Vixlet offers a supportive engineering environment including: continuous integration, automated testing, objective code reviews, and we’re starting to bring in continuous delivery concepts and Selenium testing support on the front end as well.

We are looking for a strong front end JavaScript/HTML/CSS engineer. Previous, full lifecycle experience (multiple production releases) with a large, multi-page, multi-user application is a must. Experience with heavy Ajax and Single-Page Application frameworks such as Backbone, Angular, Ember, is helpful. Long polling or Web Socket experience is a plus. We have a custom RESTful JSON API built using Node.js, and offer opportunities to stretch into the backend if desired.

Position is for a on site developer in our Los Angeles office.

Git/GitHub, Backbone.js, Sails.js, MongoDB, Redis experience is a plus.
