Walker Methodist Health Center is recruiting for a Cook to work in their large and fast-paced department preparing high quality meals following recipes, portion controls, presentation specifications and resident therapeutic diets.
Full-time, 11:00 am to 7:30 pm including every other weekend.
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- One year experience as a cook, in a long term care facility or hospitality/restaurant setting
- ServSafe certificate or ability to obtain within three months of hire
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Ability to follow written and oral directions
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds
