Current Project: 

Our current designer is relocating and we’re looking for a candidate to continue on the current project, plus all future projects. We are scratching our present website with the intent of revolutionizing the way consumers interact with mortgage lenders and the process of preparing for and getting a loan! Our new website will feature various page styles such as: user dashboard, learning center, comparison and loan building tools, simple content pages, etc. Currently rounding out the planning and concept stages, we’ll be looking for someone to take over the design stage shortly. This website is very heavily planned around UX/UI design. We need someone who is very comfortable designing for digital interfaces and designing highly interactive and adaptive content. However, no actual web development will be required on the designer’s part for this project, all design pieces will be passed off to a developer.

Responsibilities:

  • Company rebranding and subsequent branding upkeep
  • Online presence and social media maintenance
  • Web designing as our new website progresses through each stage
  • Marketing materials such as HTML emails, event brochures, etc.
  • Information research and organization
  • Ability to display information in an organized, original, and illustrative manner

Eligibility:

  • Must have or be about to obtain a BFA. 1-2 years of experience preferred.
  • Mortgage or finance experience preferred, but not required for employment.

Technical Skills:

  • Need basic knowledge of computers, office equipment and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to code in HTML and CSS is a plus, for HTML emails and slight website tweaks.
  • Adobe Creative Suite basic knowledge, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. After Effects is not required, but is a bonus.

Necessary Skills:

  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks in order to complete projects and meet deadlines while handling day to day activities.
  • Must have a good command of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
  • Ability to learn on your own and be self-motivated.
