We are currently seeking a Medical Spanish Interpreter/Translator to join our team immediately. As a medical interpreter/translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between non-English speaking individuals and medical professionals in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and efficient interpretation and translation services in medical settings.
- Assist non-English speaking patients in communicating with healthcare providers during medical appointments, procedures, and consultations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics and standards.
- Facilitate effective communication to ensure proper understanding of medical information and instructions.
- Help bridge the language gap between healthcare professionals and patients to ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services.
- Minimum of 1 year interpreting and/or translation experience (preferable but not required).
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
- A minimum of an associate's level degree is preferred, but not required.
Pay Rate:
- $17 per hour
- Mileage reimbursement at $0.20 per mile for travel related to interpreting assignments.
