We are recruiting a Lead Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading company within the energy sector.
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Lead Engineer to take a key role in leading an engineering team and contributing to the development of innovative, reliable and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the engineering team in their day-to-day work
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and high-performing team environment
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues, management and customers
- Develop mechanical designs from concept through to production
- Solve complex engineering challenges across disciplines
- Support the professional development and mentoring of engineers
- Contribute to the development of innovative products and processes
- Ensure solutions meet customer requirements, quality standards and company objectives
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of practical engineering experience, preferably from the energy sector
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent; master’s degree is an advantage
- Strong mechanical design and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards, preferably ASME Section VIII and API
- Experience with Mathcad is an advantage
- Knowledge of ANSYS non-linear analysis and APDL scripting is preferred
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Connector’s Group products and services is an advantage
